Reduce EPF ; Higher Income tax

Recently, our Finance Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak announced that EPF members could reduce their monthly contributions from 11% to 8% to give them more disposable income. The announcement was part of a stimulus package to help boost economic growth.



Few days later, EPF said the reduction of the employees’ contribution from 11% to 8% would be made automatically for the ease of members and to facilitate implementation measures. For those members who wish to maintain their 11% contribution rate can still do so by filling up Form KWSP 17A (AHL) and handing it to their employers for submission to EPF.

Another stupidity action from government forcing the residents to withdraw their "future" money for usage. It is very obvious that, no survey being done before announce this so-called "economy boost pills" to encourage residents to spend more in this crisis.

While everyone is yelling on the troublesome to maintain the 11% of EPF contribution, where we need to filling form, submit form. Don't you notice the motive behind this action?

Even MTUC disagreed with the EPF reduction, Someone just don't care.

Think again.....still don't get it? pls link this government action with income tax. Do you realize what really working behind?

It's easy. The more money you spent, the more money you need pay for your income tax. Let's refer to the income tax form, while your EPF contrinbution lesser, meaning your net income will be increased. And due to the "deductive of indiviual" still maintained at 8000, it is meaning that you will be tax higher due to higher net income. So...Tax again, goes into whose pocket? government!! So, who is the final winner to suck up all our money?

Definitely there is a batches ppl benefited from this stupid EPF action. They are those low income employees can easily escaped from paying tax because their yearly income does not reached rm30k.
