I still able to understand if a company trying to dis-allow the usage of camera phone in the production line, because with camera phone in your hand, you may take lots of funny pictures, videos in the line, and posted it.
But I really don't understand why company have to block the usage of handphone in the production line by telling us this is for information security purpose?
Is the handphone frequency causing more EOS failure?
Is that too much of operators chit-chatting in the production line using their handphone until they neglecting their job?
Is that someone throw his handphone toward others when fighting?
Or is that someone blogging using their handphone in the line (like me?)
When we are talking about technology, how canggih of our current handset with 8MP camera, touch screen panel, tv broadcast, WIFI... We dis-allowed usage of handphone in production line.
When we blaming all consumers "giam siam", keeping all their money instead of buying some technology stuff, which results boost the economy, we dis-allowed usage of handphone in the production line.
Ok. You may most probably saying that, "you may use it after work".
Hey...com'on. what is the purpose of inventing this device - handphone? one of the reason is for connnecting ppl anytimes.
one example, if your wife going to conceive, you mother pengsan at home, your father hit by car, how can they able to reach you and asking for help if you leaving your handphone in the locker while you are at work?
another example, for those executives, if you have your house alarm setup. you most probably will let the thief completed "move" your house. because the the alert message sent to you was in "locker" while you are at work.
another funny thing, it is stated this is related to information security..
hey dude, there is a thousand ways of stealing information without using handphone.
1) using pendrive, copy and save the information into the pendricve. So, you block pen-drive?
1) using paper, copy down and take it out form line. So, you wanna block paper usage in the line?
2) using brain, remember the information in the brain. So, you wanna to block usage of brain in the line?
then, we all work as no-brain in the line.
Or, you got canggih stuff like the Man-In-Black do, flash everyone memory after they are out from the line?
For those who set this kind of rule, pls think of others. When there is one day, your love calling you to meet you for the last time, and you missed it because of letting your handphone in the locker. I assure you will unforgive yourself, and the company, who set this stupid rule forever.
